Darcy J. Sears is a San Francisco Bay Area figurative sculptor who has been working with ceramics and bronze for over twenty years. Born in Southern California, she received a B.A. degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She spent many years in the corporate world before becoming a full-time artist.

Darcy’s work has been exhibited in galleries in both California and France. In the summer of 2007, she was the artist-in-residence at Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie, an artist town west of Avignon. At the end of the program she had a successful solo exposition of her work. She participated in the group exhibition, “France Amerique” in Paris and exhibited at the Claire de Villaret Galerie.

In California, Darcy’s sculptures have been shown at many art venues, including the Virga Fine Art Gallery in Laguna Beach, Desta Gallery in San Anselmo, Cavallo Point in Sausalito, stARTup Art Fair Los Angeles 2020, and Lori Austin Gallery in Healdsburg.

Darcy’s sculptures are in private collections in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Her work is also available at retail galleries in California.

Darcy lives with her family in Larkspur, CA. She has always enjoyed being part of a community of artists. Her studio is located in Sausalito, CA  in the iconic Industrial Center Building (ICB), one of the largest collectives of professional artists on the West coast.
